New Musical Broken Wings premiered at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in 2018 in semi-staged concert format, Directed by Bronagh Lagan, Produced by Ali Matar and with Orchestrations and Musical Direction by Joe Davison. Following further development, the show now prepares for its first international production dates with a two-week London workshop, culminating in two public presentations at The Other Palace.

62 Singers To Take Part In The Prestigious Mirjam Helin Competition

Sixty-two singers out of 475 applicants have been chosen to take part in the VIII Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition. They represent 22 nationalities. The largest number of competitors is from South Korea (20), followed by the USA (6), Russia (5), Finland (4), Germany (3) and Ukraine (3).

The productions are based on Oscar Wilde's The Nightingale and The Rose and George Bernard Shaw's The Music Cure. The two one act shows will be performed on Friday 12, Saturday 13 at 7.30pm and Sunday 14 April at 2.30pm at the new Susie Sainsbury Theatre, Royal Academy of Music, London, NW1 5HT.
